Topanga Canyon: Ride Route

Location:	Cal State Northridge (CSUN), parking lot at the corner of Nordoff and Darby, Northridge
Directions to Start:	From the 101 fwy, exit on Reseda, go north. Turn right on Nordoff, then left on Darby (one block) then enter parking lot. Continue to the southeast corner of lot. From the 405 fwy, exit on Nordoff, go west. Turn right on Darby (two blocks past Lindley, one block past Etiwanda) then enter parking lot. Continue to the southeast corner of lot.
Ride Description:	From CSUN, we go around the beautiful Chatsworth Resevoir, making our way to the base of Old Topanga Canyon (OTC). We then climb through picturesque OTC and descend Topanga Canyon into Malibu. Turning north on Pacific Coast Highway, we travel the coast as far north as Kanan Dume, where we turn around and head south to Venice for a break (short or long, as decided by the group) at the Rose Cafe. Following the break, we head up San Vicente through Brentwood, through the Sepulveda pass and make our way back to CSUN.
